As a result of a heavenly visitation from the Lord in her childhood, Janice Alvear purposed in her heart that should would spend her life as a missionary in Brazil. Upon graduating from High School at the age of 18 Missionary Alvear went to Brazil and started telling people about Jesus.
While in Brazil she met her husband and for many years Bishop Raul Alvear and Missionary Janice Alvear have been faithfully winning multitudes to the Lord.
During the past four decades the Alvears along with their large family of mostly adopted children in Brazil have been doing exploits of God. Today there are thousands of souls who are giving God glory knowing that the Alvears were God sent to help them find their way.
During a recent visit at the Norwich Tabernacle in Norwich, Connecticut USA Missionary Alvear gave her testimony and it was recorded. There were tears in the eyes almost everybody in the congregation as missionary Alvear shared her love and concern for souls.
Bishop Rawl Alvear joined us the next day and recorded an awesome audio CD.
We were blessed by this visit and determined in our hearts to try to do something to help in the ministry of the Alvears in Brazil.
